I was invited to make an installation of indoor trees in the domes. The idea was to animate the space, make it more human, inviting and gardenlike. I created elegantly sculpted planters and stools from eco friendly cast stone compounds. Beautiful Florida Black Olives created elegant glades. Finally we added a mobile installation of sculpted swans, flying in forced perspective high up into the domes. They create a witty link to the river, reminding us that the harbour is nearby. The installation won the Platinum BALI Award for Interior Landscaping 2008 and is featured in the forthcoming book, Interior Gardens by the prestigious German publisher, Birkhauser.
